Microblading FAQ
What is Microblading?
A semi-permanent eyebrow created by using manually drawn hair strokes for a more natural and fuller looking eyebrow to compliment your face.
How long will the eyebrows last?
Approximately 8-18 months before fading, and requiring a touch up. The length of time is dependent on a person’s skin and lifestyle.
Does it hurt?
It has been described as similar to brow tweezing since microblading is done in the superficial layer of the skin. It may feel more uncomfortable if you are menstruating. You will be numbed unless you are allergic to lidocaine and/or epinephrine, in which case, you may opt to have the procedure done without numbing.
How long does it take?
Approximately 1-1 ½ hours. You will be numbed, fill out forms; brows will be measured so you can decide if the shape is to your liking; colour options will be presented for you to decide, and then your brows will be microbladed.
How long to heal?
Typically, between 7-14 days. You should feel comfortable enough to be seen in public directly after the procedure; however, your healing brows will go through changes in colour (from darker to lighter) during healing time. After 4 weeks, your brows should be completely healed, and you will come in for your touch-up.
